Solo Guitar Studio

Instruction • Performance

Acoustic and electric guitar lessons for children and adults of all skill levels in Redmond, Seattle, and Mill Creek. Professional classical guitar performance for weddings and special events.

New Location in Seattle

I’m happy to announce a new teaching location in Seattle—Rosewood Guitar! This fantastic store is centrally located in downtown Greenwood and is the heart of Seattle’s classical guitar community. It contains a wide range of nylon and steel string guitars, from entry level to gorgeous luthier-built instruments. (And is also where I bought my Michael Cadiz Torres model, which is the background image of this website!)

If you live in the Greenwood area and are interested in lessons, contact me for availability!

Holiday Recital Highlights

A special thanks to Theo over at Couth Buzzard Books for hosting our winter recital. Both our Redmond and Ballard students got to show off their hard work and perform for their families, with their videos uploaded to YouTube to share. Our upcoming spring recital will be announced soon!

Student Recital in December!

The next student recital for Solo Guitar Studio will be on Sunday, December 10th at 2pm, located at Grumpy D's Coffee House. This will be a fun opportunity for students to show their progress with a selection of holiday music and some of their favorite songs. Non-students and people interested in guitar lessons in Redmond or Ballard are welcome to come watch, as the event is free and open to all ages. We hope to see you there!

New Seattle Location in Downtown Ballard!

Starting in March, Solo Guitar Studio will be expanding to a new location on Market Street in Ballard. I'm very excited to be teaching in such a culturally rich part of town, surrounded by amazing local businesses. Sign up today to learn how to play your favorite music, explore new styles, and participate in two recitals per year. I look forward to working with you!
